Answers that help users evaluate the product quickly.
The FAQ keeps the product story clear around account linking, security, pricing, business fit, and the difference between the MVP and future roadmap features.
Operating model
Connected cash visibility with guided next actions
Built to help users connect institutions, monitor balances, and move through banking workflows with less friction.
Institution-ready
Structured surfaces, approval-aware copy, and balance-first hierarchy.
Customer signal

How does account linking work?
Users launch a secure Plaid-powered connection flow, choose their financial institution, authenticate with that provider, and select which accounts to share with Northline.
Can users move money between banks today?
The MVP demonstrates a transfer workflow and can be wired to supported Plaid transfer capabilities later. Production rollout would remain subject to compliance, approvals, and product readiness.
What is available now versus later?
Account aggregation, balances visibility, dashboard insights, pricing exploration, and the Plaid linking demo are available in the MVP. Debt assistance, credit repair guidance, monitoring, and score simulation are planned features.
How does pricing work?
The product supports a free entry path, a monthly subscription for broader usage and premium insights, and a transfer-fee option for users who prefer pay-as-you-go access when supported.
Is Northline a bank?
No. The platform is positioned as a financial connectivity and money-management experience powered by secure third-party integrations. It does not replace a chartered bank.
Can small businesses use it?
Yes. The MVP messaging and workflows are designed for both consumers and smaller businesses that manage funds across multiple institutions.
